I have never received much historical helmet information for these teams - any information would be appreciated.

*1 CWRU wore a special helmet design vs. Kenyon on September 5, 2009 as part of its observance of "Heritage Day". The team used white helmets with two different logos: on the left sides, a "Rough Rider" in brown, and on the right sides, a "Red Cat" in red; these logos were to commemorate the football teams of Case Institute of Technology and Western Reserve University - those two schools merged in 1970 to form Case Western Reserve University. The "Rough Rider" design is shown above. I would appreciate a clear photograph showing the "Red Cat" side of the helmet, because I have some suspicion that, during the actual game, a different cat logo was used from the one appearing in a photograph that was sent to me prior to the game. I would also be very interested in information about helmet designs used by Case Institute of Technology and by Western Reserve University during the 1960s, when the two schools were using these earlier nicknames.

The current helmet design has apparently been in use since at least the early 1990s. Chicago has had a football team from 1969 to present, and an earlier team existed through the 1939 season.

I believe that Washington used a different "W" logo immediately prior to the adoption of the "?- 2005" logo - it was apparently a simple red "W" without a "bear face" atop it. Photographs of this one would be appreciated.
