Comments
Knox, Lawrence , and Ripon are each apparently using new helmet designs in 2009 (shown above), while Lake Forest has apparently switched back to a design last used by the team in about 2005.
As of 2009, Monmouth appears to no longer be using stripes on its helmets - was this change made prior to 2009?

The 2006 Beloit helmet featured a logo similar to the one shown on the first helmet above, but colored differently - I would appreciate a very clear photo of the 2006 helmet.

A report has been received indicating that Illinois College used navy blue helmets at least as early as 1972, and that for several years during the 1970s, the helmet logo featured an outline of the state of Illinois.
In 2004, the team used a decal consisting of the word "Illinois" in a cursive style with a "tail". The letters were blue and were worn on white helmet shells. I would appreciate a copy of the 2004 helmet decal so that I may add this one to the web site. Below is a photo of the 2004 helmet:

During at least part of the 2008 season, Lawrence used a "LU" logo, as may be seen in the photograph below - I would appreciate a copy of this helmet logo.
*1 During at least part of the 2006 season, the numerals were actually worn on the right sides of the helmets only, with the left sides "blank". I do not know if this scheme was in place in 2005 and 2007.
