Valley City State and Dakota State have new helmet designs for the 2009 season (shown above).
Mayville State also has a new design (photo below). While I have received a copy of what is apparently the correct helmet logo, I will also need a larger and clearer photograph than the one below, which leaves ambiguous the color of the letters spelling "COMETS" and the "comet" flying among the letters (though I believe the letters are probably blue and the comet black).

I have received copies of the two helmet logos used by BHSU from 1990 through 1998, and could add these to the web site, if I could get photographs of the helmets in question (in order to show the size of the helmet decals relative to the helmet shell).
In 2002, Black Hills State used the helmet design shown in the photograph below; I would appreciate a copy of the "BHSU" logo used on this helmet.
*1 This design was used through at least the 1971 season.
*2 The team wore plain green helmets during the 2004 game against South Dakota Tech as a tribute to former team member Judd Fulton, who had died in an automobile accident which occurred August 16, 2004.

In 2000, Dakota State used a different "trojan head" logo, of which I have received a copy. I would appreciate some photographs of the 2000 helmet so that I may add this one to the web site.
The pre-1996 helmet logo has been described to me as the block letters "DSU" in yellow with white outlines, "descending down the helmet". Again photos would be appreciated.

The current Jamestown helmet is the only one for which I have ever received any information. I believe that plain orange helmets have been used for at least the last decade or so.

The first helmet design shown above had apparently been in use since at least the late 1990s. I have not received any information about earlier VCSU helmets.
