Who wants to be the nation's next great rusher? Melvin Gordon has taken his record-setting season to the NFL. But that doesn't matter in Madison where accomplished offensive linemen and punishing ball carriers are a longtime tradition. A few problems exist however for the near future. That offensive line just lost some heavy studs and Wisconsin just lost its head coach. Per usual the quarterbacks in this passing attack are not capable of carrying the offensive load. The defense will be solid, especially in the secondary. It's too early to tell just where this team fits. Will the new coach Paul Chryst keep the same Badger identities? He would be crazy to operate otherwise. When people think of successful Big Ten style football, Wisconsin comes to mind. This course won't be altered despite the new faces at key spots.
