Second year
head coach Butch Jones has proclaimed
that this 2014 Vol team was
the youngest team in America.
He is likely correct depending
on how you measure that statistic.
With so many starters coming
back on both sides of the football,
combined with the impressive
Tax Slayer Bowl victory over
Iowa, it's time for Tennessee
to get back into SEC East Division
discussions once again...something
that has been missing for quite
some time now. This offense
isn't loaded with decorated
star power yet and the numbers
have ranked near the bottom
of the SEC. Jalen Hurd, the
6'3 and 227 pound true freshman
running back is a future star
and quarterback Joshua Dobbs
has come a long way however.
The defense isn't lacking star
players and with continued improvement
will allow this 2015 Vol team
a chance to grow. Recruiting
classes have been excellent.
Now it's time to show it. If
Tennessee isn't competing in
it's own Division this time
around they will disappoint
a good many folks on Rocky Top. |
