Time for the Irish to step back up to the plate. After losing the last four games of the regular season there is still hope given the shear amount of experience set to return in South Bend. Quarterback Everett Golson transferred out of South Bend after a turnover prone season in 2014, which eventually led to him being benched in favor of heralded prepster Malik Zaire. With 17 starters set to come back it's feasible to believe this team is capable of getting back into the Top 25. It's also not a stretch to believe that by game five, they aren't back in the Top 4 playoff discussion (at least by Lou Holtz' annual account). A boat load of top quality receivers and one of the better offensive lines in the country are going to carry the load while the punch less defense attempts to find itself. As if head coach Brian Kelly doesn't have enough pressure, 2015 will be a defining moment in his thus far six year Notre Dame coaching stint. Too much talent and experience for the Irish to fall out of the rankings again.
