Don't
look now but Les Miles has another
contender. Some may have been
thinking at certain points this
past year that LSU was sinking
in the fast growing waters of
the SEC West. Maybe to some
degree in 2014, but much of
that has to be attributed to
youth. LSU has been completely
drained by players leaving early
for the NFL the past few years.
Regardless, these Tigers are
primed to get back into the
usual SEC Championship discussion.
The obvious thorn still lies
in the passing game. LSU finished
as the nation's 114th ranked
passing offense (worst in the
SEC) in 2014. There were times
when all LSU could do was hand
the ball of seemingly an entire
football game regardless of
the score. That formula has
to change. Then again, folks
have been saying this for nearly
a decade. But make no mistake,
LSU will be right back in the
thick of the SEC West race next
season with all this NFL talent/experience
back in the mix. |
