January 21, 2009 - The 2009 Average Rankings Preseason Poll is the sum of all major polls listed at the bottom of this page. 25 points are awarded for a first place vote, 24 points are awarded for a second place vote and on down the line until 1 point is awarded for a 25th place vote. The totals are added and then sorted from highest to lowest to get these rankings.
