* DEPTH CHARTS were only designed as a simplistic
gauge for listing players that departed and players
that received the most playing experience (consistent
starters). NationalChamps.net recognizes the importance
of missing personnel data not listed such as redshirts,
transfers, injuries, incoming recruits, back ups
and alternates. Their coverage will begin with our
full 2007 Preseason Preview due out this coming
spring. |

QUICK
ANALYSIS |
There
is a reason Boise State went 12-0. This
was a group based around a host of key seniors.
The Broncos lost more players to graduation
than did any team getting Top 25 recognition.
Other teams under this umbrella would be
getting no respect. They will here. First
year head coach Chris Petersen did a marvelous
job of maintaining the same success Dan
Hawkins established before moving on to
lead Colorado. Boise State has done more
with even less than this over the years
in terms of recruiting standards and that
formula has to continue for the Broncos
to get back into WAC Champion status. Ergo,
Peterson will see if he has the stuff needed
to keep them riding high. If the 2007 team
can once again receive a BCS bowl invite,
Chris Petersen is the best coach in America,
bar none. Respect what this team accomplishes
year in and year out.
