QUICK ANALYSIS

November 28, 2003 - Amazing to think the Sooners could be bringing back so much of that dominating defense. The LB crew is possibly the best to play the game in the last 15 years. The DL is just as stacked, led by Tommie Harris at tackle. Year after year we keep hearing the same names dating back to that 2000 Orange Bowl championship season. Names like Strait, Everage, Clayton seem to have been there for ages. The key to Oklahoma will be the offense and who fills in at QB. Will it be Jason White, who was an intermittent starter until injuries plagued his career? Many of the Sooner faithful feel White is the person for the job. Don't be so sure, as young Brent Rawls has quite a resume despite the fact that his playing time has also been limited due to injury. Finding a RB that spells Quentin Griffin may prove difficult, but Oklahoma is a team that plays so many athletes that inexperience is hardly ever a problem. So we keep repeating ourselves...Coach Bob Stoops has everything he needs to make another title run, and we are not just talking about the Big 12 Championship.
