* DEPTH CHARTS were only designed as a simplistic
gauge for listing players that departed and players
that received the most playing experience (consistent
starters). NationalChamps.net recognizes the importance
of missing personnel data not listed such as redshirts,
transfers, injuries, incoming recruits, back ups,
and alternates. Their coverage will begin with our
full 2003 Preseason Preview due out this coming
spring. |

QUICK
ANALYSIS
|
November
28, 2003 - This team has gotten better
each week. If you could wind back the
2002 clock and tell Gator fans that new
coach Ron Zook would beat the majority
of his rivals, the Gainesville faithful
would have been extremely pleased. This
Gator team will garner talent just as
it always has. The big difference will
be the likely return of Rex Grossman.
You just can't deny his impact, so the
Gators deserve to start the season in
the Top 10. The key will be finding a
running game to replace dependable Earnest
Graham. The receivers haven't been your
usual staple of thoroughbreds (like in
the Spurrier-era). Recruiting a few new
pass-catching targets could prove to be
the difference.
